Waxing Skin Care Tips

Waxing is considered to be one of the best ways of hair removal. It not only removes hair but also is known for treating tanning of skin. It cleans skin to the pores but at the same time many girls face skin irritation. This one of the major side effects. These irritations are the reaction of the stress which our skin undergoes while this hair removal process. Generally, these skin eruptions disappear within few hours but for girls with sensitive skin, the rashes may stick on few days. Here are few skin care methods after waxing -

1.Ice – Waxing leaves the pores open and exposed to infection. Thus, one should rub ice. This closes the open pores and also reduces the stress. You can either rub an ice cube on the affected area or wash the waxed area with cold water.

2.Grated Potato – Potato is also a cooling agent. Grate one potato and apply the juice on the waxed area. After the first pack has dried, apply the juice for the second time. Continue doing it for five times. Then wash the area with cold water.

3.Aloe Vera – Aloe Vera get should be applied on the waxed area. This will moisturise the skin and make the hair removal easy. But it can be applied even after the process to avoid skin irritation. Aloe Vera soothes the skin and reduces stress.

4.Tea Tree Oil – Tea Tree oil is well known agent for soothing the skin. Soak some Tea Tree Oil in a ball of cotton and apply it on your skin. This soothes the skin and prevents skin infections.

5.Shea Butter – Shea butter is one of the best agents to prevent and cure skin irritation. Apply it on the waxed area. Shea butter not only cure your skin but also nourishes it.

6.Olive Oil – Apply olive oil to moisturise your skin and nourish it. Olive oil treats your skin of all kind of infections.

Some are prone to skin infection after waxing. They should always apply calendula powder before hair removal. This makes waxing easy and prevents skin infections.
